Updated Information on Ecuador Mainland and Galapagos Islands Entrance Requirements

- Any person 3+ aged, regardless of their migratory category who enters Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands through any of the authorized entry points must present a mandatory negative RT-PCR test performed no more than 72 hours or the complete vaccination card with QR code or COVID-19 vaccination card with at least 14 days of validity before entering the country and Archipelago to prevent the spread of COVID-19. *Passengers under 3 years of age will not need to present any of these requirements. *The only test authorized is a qualitative RT-PCR test. *Original vaccination cards, copies are not accepted.
- All passengers must also fill out a Personal Health Declaration prior to their arrival, available on the following link: https://declaracionsalud-viajero.msp.gob.ec/
- For passengers traveling to the Galapagos Islands it’s mandatory to present the Transit Control Card issued by the Government Council of the Special Regime of Galapagos.
The mentioned requirements will apply from February 11th, 2022 onwards.
